Before you start planning an event, start by asking yourself the following questions about the most important factor in a webinar – your audience.

What do I know about them? What’s in it for them?

Until you have established your thought leadership on how to add value to a prospect, your audience will not be open to hearing from you. They’re all thinking the same thing: what’s in it for me?

Here are some helpful steps towards identifying your specific webinar audience:

  • What industries are they from?
  • What jobs do they perform?
  • Are they executives, managers, staff or solopreneurs?
  • How big are the attendees’ organizations?
  • How much revenue do they generate?
  • Where is the majority of your audience located?
